Remember when funny women from TV and Broadway had terrific nightclub acts with big laughs and great songs?

Comedienne, Actress & Singer, Kate Flannery best known as Meredith the drunk for nine seasons on NBC's The Office is paying homage to those great ladies of comedy and song when Broadway held a special place for funny and unforgettable females. In the '50s & '60s Broadway actresses like Carol Burnett, Barbra Streisand & Rose Marie stopped the show cold every night but they also had incredible nightclub acts with great musicians. Join Kate as she travels back in time to those wonderful days.

Kate is more than just a former TV drunk. New York audiences might remember Kate from her critically acclaimed portrayal of Neely O'Hara in Theater a Go-Go's Valley of the Dolls at the Circle in the Square or her very funny turn as Alice in the Real Live Brady Bunch at the Village Gate or in Nora Ephron's Love, Loss and What I Wore at the Westside Theater. And as Jane Lynch's sidekick in the long running show See Jane Sing with the Tony Guerrero Quintet and Tim Davis (playing Joe's Pub, the Kennedy Center, the Lyric and over 30 cities).

Kate has also starred with Jane Lynch in their anti cabaret act Two Lost Souls at the Café Carlyle, A Swingin' Little Christmas tour, based on the Jane's billboard top 10 album featuring Kate (seen at Feinstein's, City Winery, Triple Door, the Venetian Room among others). Kate also sang with the Ocean City Pops, and on the Emmy Awards in a group called the Emmytones. Her original cult comedy lounge act, The Lampshades, (where she sings comedy mash ups) plays festivals all over the country and continues to play Hollywood monthly for over 15 years.

Flannery is currently on Cartoon Network's OK O.K.! Let's Be Heroes and has a recurring role on Steven Universe and ABC's American Housewife, she's guest starred on Fox's New Girl and Brooklyn Nine Nine, the Netflix films 4th Man Out, Tenured and Elijah Woods' Cooties. Kate is also on Hulu's new teen hit, All Night.
