Jim Caruso’s Cast Party has been bringing Broadway glitz, swinging jazz and impromptu musical magic to the legendary stage of Birdland in New York City since 2003.  It’s become the ultimate open mic mix-and-mingle spot for show folk and the people who love them!  Now, the jaw-dropping music and razzle-dazzle has taken to the road, bringing the fun to theaters and nightspots in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, San Francisco, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Orlando, Austin, The Catskills, Delray Beach, The Hamptons, Provincetown, and on the high seas!  Lucky audience members are invited into the spotlight, and are accompanied by world-class musicians.  It’s a press bonanza when Cast Party celebrates local talent!  Somewhere between “There’s no business like show business” and “There’s no place like home,” you’ll find Cast Party – On The Road!

Jim Caruso made his Broadway debut alongside Liza Minnelli in the Tony® Award-winning Liza’s At The Palace!, singing, dancing and celebrating the music and arrangements of Kay Thompson and the Williams Brothers.  He has won six MAC Awards for his nightclub appearances, performed with the New York Pops in a tribute to Kander & Ebb, with Rosemary Clooney celebrating Bing Crosby, and sang songs of Hope & Crosby with Michael Feinstein at Carnegie Hall.   Jim was honored to sing with Barbara Cook at President Clinton’s First State Dinner at the White House.  His two cd’s, “The Swing Set” and "Caruso Live and In Person" are available online.  For ten years, he has hosted the weekly showbiz bash "Jim Caruso’s Cast Party” at Birdland and across the country, and performs at Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle Hotel.
