For the first time in history, a United States President, Harry S. Truman, will be portrayed on stage by a living member of his own family in GIVE 'EM HELL, HARRY!

Clifton Truman Daniel, grandson of the 33rd president, brings audiences into his grandfather's life and presidency in this award-winning one-man show by Samuel Gallu. This engaging and often humorous drama captures the spirit of a great statesman and the heart and humanity behind some of his momentous decisions: The atomic bombings, the Marshall Plan, the Korean War and the firing of General Douglas MacArthur and the recognition of Israel.

Clifton Truman Daniel is the oldest grandson of Harry and Bess Truman, son of singer and author Margaret Truman and former New York Times Managing Editor E. Clifton Daniel Jr. While working as a journalist in Wilmington, NC, he appeared in more than a dozen productions with Opera House Theatre Company, including Ensign Pulver in Mr. Roberts, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, Mortimer Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace, Randle P. McMurphy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Antonio Salieri in Amadeus.
